ABOUT
Built Local. Trusted by Locals.
Our Story
H & H Plant Hire started with one machine, a shed, and a family driven goal to build something reliable that would support our work and our future. What began as a small side hustle grew quickly, driven by a commitment to doing things properly and treating people the right way.
Word spread because we showed up when we said we would, kept our gear in top shape, and looked after our customers like mates. That approach helped us grow from a single excavator to a steadily expanding fleet.
Today, H & H Plant Hire is proudly family run, with Jack (pictured) at the helm. We are here to support local contractors, builders, and homeowners with dependable equipment and friendly service, making every job smoother, safer, and easier without the hassle.
MEET THE WORKERS
Our Team
Jack
Co-Founder & operator
With over a decade of hands-on experience in civil construction, water infrastructure, and irrigation projects across Australia, Jack understands what it takes to deliver quality results in tough conditions. He’s spent years operating and managing heavy machinery in high-pressure environments and overseeing large-scale projects in regional areas.
Jack’s focus is simple - safety, reliability, and quality results on every site. Skilled in site supervision, project coordination, and machinery operation, he’s known for his strong leadership and clear communication with both crews and clients.
Together with Chris, Jack founded HH Plant Hire after recognising a gap in the market for dependable, well-maintained equipment backed by real on-site experience and genuine industry know-how.
Chris
Co-Founder & Operator
Chris is the other half of HH Plant Hire and brings over 15 years of experience across plumbing, civil construction, and machinery operation. A fully qualified plumber, he began his career in 2009, gaining extensive hands-on experience in civil works, drainage, and large-scale subdivision projects.
In 2012, Chris shifted his focus toward his true passion - machinery operation and earthworks. Since then, he’s honed his skills operating excavators and a wide range of heavy equipment on projects throughout Australia.
Known as the dynamic one in the duo, Chris’s broad expertise spans railway projects, site management, and plant operations. He’s driven by creating safe worksites, maintaining top-quality standards, and building strong, capable teams.
